Bookkeeping & Marketing FAQs | The Digital Ledger Co.

Question 1

What bookkeeping services do you offer?

Accepted Answer

I offer a full range of bookkeeping services including accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliation, financial reporting, cash flow management, tax preparation support, QuickBooks setup and management, and fractional bookkeeping packages.

Question 2

Do I need to be local to work with you?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. I work with clients entirely online, so you can be based anywhere in the United States. All documents and communications are handled securely through cloud-based tools.

Question 3

How often will my books be updated?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the package you choose. Most clients receive monthly bookkeeping, but I also offer weekly or bi-weekly updates for businesses that need more frequent oversight. I'll find the cadence that works best for you.

Question 4

Do you work with QuickBooks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I am experienced with QuickBooks Online and can handle setup, cleanup, and ongoing management. If you're not yet using QuickBooks, I can help you get started.

Question 5

Can you help me get caught up on past bookkeeping?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Catch-up bookkeeping is one of my most common requests. I'll assess where things stand and get your records organized and current so you can move forward with confidence.

Question 6

What digital marketing services do you provide?

Accepted Answer

I offer social media management, email marketing, content creation, SEO strategy, and brand development. My marketing services are designed to complement your financial data and drive measurable growth.

Question 7

Do I need to use both bookkeeping and marketing services?

Accepted Answer

No. You're welcome to engage me for either service independently. That said, many clients find real value in combining both — your financial insights directly inform smarter marketing decisions.

Question 8

Are you certified in Google and HubSpot?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I hold certifications from both Google and HubSpot, ensuring that your marketing strategy is built on proven, up-to-date methodologies.

Question 9

How do your packages work?

Accepted Answer

I offer three core packages — The Foundation, The Growth Catalyst, and The Concierge — each designed for a different stage of business growth. À la carte services are also available if you only need specific support.

Question 10

How do I know which package is right for me?

Accepted Answer

The best way to find out is to book a free 20-minute discovery call. I'll talk through your current situation, goals, and budget, and recommend the package that makes the most sense for your business.

Question 11

Do you offer custom pricing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If none of my standard packages fit your needs exactly, I'm happy to build a custom scope of work. Reach out through my contact form and I'll put together a tailored proposal.

Question 12

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

The easiest first step is to book a free 20-minute discovery call. I'll get to know your business, answer your questions, and outline a plan. From there, onboarding is straightforward and I handle the heavy lifting.

Question 13

What information will I need to provide?

Accepted Answer

To get started with bookkeeping, I'll need accountant access to your bank and credit card statements, any existing accounting software, and a brief overview of your business structure. I'll walk you through everything during onboarding.

Question 14

How quickly can you get started?

Accepted Answer

In most cases I can begin within one to two weeks of signing an agreement. If you have an urgent need — such as tax deadlines or catch-up work — let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
